Hey all,

Tomorrow night's User Group has been rescheduled to next month due to scheduling conflicts. We apologize for the inconvenience.

February's meeting (date pending) will feature Billy Laing (http://www.crunkinthetrunk.com) and Ableton's Huston Singletary to preview Bridge before its release date this Spring.

In the meantime, you can send your own tips and tricks to AbletonATL@gmail.com for our new blog: http://abletonatlanta.blogspot.com and/or check out our new Facebook and Twitter pages (links below).

Atlanta Ableton User Group News - Big Things!

Hello all, first and foremost, Happy 2010!

Three weeks in and it's a whirlwind of a year already. We made a couple of big announcements at NAMM.

The biggest is our long-awaited collaboration with Serato, called The Bridge: http://www.ableton.com/thebridge

This allows two way communication between Live and Serato in a new and innovative way. The best part about it is that it's free for owners of both Live 8 and Serato Live.

Also, our partners at AKAI have announced the APC20, a slimmed down version of its big brother the APC40: http://www.ableton.com/apc20

Own Max For Live? Here is a great open resource for uploading and downloading patches: http://www.maxforlive.com/ We encourage you to add your own.

Finally, Ableton Power User Jon Margulies is posting a tip each day this year, all 365 of them: http://www.ableton.com/pages/2010/365_ableton_live_tips

That's what's going on in the world of Ableton lately, so why don't we meet up and talk about it:

Our next Atlanta Ableton User Group will be Wednesday, January 27th at 7:00PM at SAE Atlanta:

215 Peachtree Street (above the Hard Rock)
Suite 300, 3rd floor (enter at call box on Andrew Young side)
Atlanta, GA 30303

Our guest speaker will be Billy Laing aka Captain Crunk, who is kind of a big deal in the Atlanta DJ scene.
Check out more information on Billy here:

Billy is a Serato and Live ninja. Will he Bridge the gap? We'll have to find out next week.

Finally, and this is what I'm most excited about, we've seriously updated our internet presence with the following links:
